Do you have any further information on the John Calhoun family? Did Margaret remarry after his death? A Patrick Hall is living with the family in 1860 in household #198 Montgomery Co Ga, and in 1870, a Patrick Hall with wife Margaret and daughter Drusilla were living in Household #132 in Montgomery County. I suspect that Margaret in 1870 was the widow of John Calhoun, and that she and Patrick may have been married in 1860, though the census does not indicate that Hall was her last name then. In 1850 Margaret and her children were living with James and Nancy Darley.
I am trying to figure out whether or not this Patrick Hall was the son of Juniper Hall Sr of Emanuel Co Ga. He had a daughter named Elizabeth who was born in 1830 in Emanuel Co by an unknown wife, and he was living there in 1840, after which I have lost track of him..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
