I'm looking to make contact with anyone who's descended from an Alsop who emigrated from Aberdeenshire, Scotland to Canada/America anytime in the 1900s. I'd be happy to assist you if we have common ancestors, and hope you can help me with their descendents.

Donald Munro Alsop's grandfather, James Bryce Alsop (1839-1904), was brother to Samuel Ritchie Alsop (1845-1889), who emigrated to America and then Australia. I am descended from Sam Alsop. Their father was John Alsop (1802-1876) of Old Machar, Aberdeen, Scotland. Do you have any info about John Alsop and his forebears?

Hello,

I'm descended from James Bryce Alsop. I have a little information about John Alsop, and his descendents, but unfortunately nothing about his parents so far. I can give you what I've got. Do you have any information about Donald Munro Alsop and his descendents?

I can be reached at waterbabyj@gmail.com
