I'm searching for information relating to the family of Carl (Karl?) Bank (b. about 1860?) who married Anna Waldeck (Waldek?). Several of their children immigrated from Germany to Michigan. Their children were Ernest, Otto, Carl, Lena (Moser), Clara (Loeffler), Freida (Moser), and Emma (Beckert). All of these children moved to Michigan, there may be others who remained in Germany with their parents.

Any information would be most appreciated.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw your posting!! I am the grand-daughter of the very Bank family you mentioned! My mother, Dianne Bank, was the daughter of Karl's brother, Oswald Bank. Clara was his sister!!! If you have any information please let me know!! How did you know these marvelous people?

I have a section of The Saginaw Sunday News dated March 11, 1928. There are a few announcements that may be of interest to someone. Some names are as follows: Mrs. William Earle and family (of Hemlock, MI) Miss Thelma Ingersoll (of Breckenridge, MI) Mr. Ronald Marsh (of Flint,MI), Mary Sayer, Mrs. R.J. Thompson, Otto and Earnest Bank, Mr. Elmer Rose (of Cawood Sales Company, Studebaker Distributors, Saginaw Valley, MI). These are form announcement and classified adds. The Banks brothers include pictures. The Earle Family lists several family members including out-of-town geusts. Let me know if anything rings a bell as I would be happy to foward any info I might be able to find in the paper. Sorry...no obits.

I am the great grand-daughter of Clara Bank Loeffler, I also knew Emma Bank Beckert, Freida Bank Moser, Lena Bank Moser, Carl Bank whose son Carl Jr. still lives in Saginaw. To our knowledge from my Mom talking to her aunts, uncles and Grandmother Clara who resided with my Mom until my Mom's marriage in 1965, all of the sibilings were in the U.S.
Clara resided in Kochville with my Grandfather and his wife Henry and Gertrude Loeffler who was Clara's son, My Mom Joan is the daughter of Henry and Gertrude. Clara lived with my grandparents most of there married life.
