You mentioned they were married in 1833. Do you know if that was Sorel, Quebec, Canada? I am looking through what records I have from Canada. Let me know if you have more info on Antoine and Francoise-Anne Potvin. All Cournoyer's are descendents of Paul Hus and Jeanne Baillargeon. Let me know if this helps.

Have you searched the film from the Mormon Library No. 1031758 of St. Michel's, Yamaska, Quebec, Canada. I am going to the library again on Tuesday as the film is there. I have recorded that Antoine married on January 19, 1795 at St. Michel's. His parents were: Antoine Cournoyer and Genevieve Descosiers. Francoise parents were: Joseph and Marie-Anne Lussier. I was just at St. Michel's in July, we have pictures of the church, it was closed that day. Have you been to Canada?
My name is: Clarice Courneya, 946 Leonardo Way, Hayward, Cal. 94541.

If you would send me your e-mail address, I could reach you faster. I have quite a bit of information on the family.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Tim! I found some info that might

I was pressed by time and could not check
further. I did check a bit on this last
entry and could find any lead. I will have
to go to the Montréal library next week
to verify if the name was Verrier, (Le)
Verrier or Laverdière. Will let you know.
Best regards. Jean.
