My wife's ancestors include Farrels who emigrated to Upper Canada from the Mohawk Valley. It is believed that they were originally Palatine Germans with the surname Faddle.
We would appreciate any information on the Faddle connection. The first generation Farrel carried the name Vanrenselaer.
