My great grandparents were named Intihar. They came from Slovenia and settled in the mining region of Illinois near St. Louis. My great-grandfather started a tavern in the town of Staunton named "Intihars". This remained the name until my grandfather (married the fmr. Francis Intihar) and changed it to Rodi's (Rodeghiero) Tavern. It was well know in its region. The tavern existed from the 30's until the early 70's. If anyone has any possible connections to my branch of the family, please post.
