Anyways, my understanding is that my family originated from Veracruz, lived in Tampico and has extended to California, Texas and Michigan. We are originally from California and now live in San Antonio, TX. My father has stated that Veracruz Mar's are considered to be relatives. I have also heard that the original Mar's came from Germany. I dont know what truth this has.
