Husband John E Schroll, born Louisville, KY 1945, died Fort Myers, FL, 1990.

Father was William D. Schroll, mother Florence Gray, that is all I know about his family history.

Seeking info on Jacob S and Mary U Schroll and their daughter Sarah Catharine ( my grandmother). Sarah married my grandfather(Charles A Carter) in Scalp Level (Cambria County) Pa in 1904. They were living in Arrow (Paint Twp-Somerset County) Pa at the time.

I am looking for information on the Abraham Shroll family of Crawford County, Indiana. My dad's g-g-grandfather was Abraham Shroll, born 1812 in Crawford County, IN. He died in 1886. I don't know his wife's name. His daughter Sarah Ann Shroll was born 2 Mar 1844 in Crawford County, IN. She married Elcanah L. Knouse 2 Feb 1865 at Rock Grove, Floyd County, Iowa. She Died 9 Feb 1907. Sarah and Elcanah moved to South Dakota, Kansas, Texas and Emmett, Idaho. There children's names were: Ellis, Eddie, Ira, minnie, clara, Lula, oda, Cora, Dolie, Viola and Charles.

Looking for a connection for Jacob M. Schroll 1854-1938 and Maggie Schroll 1860 - 1937, Lancaster County, PA. Trying to find connections for either of them. Jacob's father was Daniel but I can't connect Daniel with anyone or anyplace. Need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for any information on my forefather Emanuel Shroll (d. 1879 ?). He was from Wyandot or Crawford County Ohio and married Eliza ( ? ). they had 5 children:
Phoebe Endora (Hahn), Sarah Elmira, Jane Belle, Daisy Augusta and Jacob Early.

My info on Abraham Schroll indicates as follows:
Father was Christian Schroll (b:before 1759 in York County, PA. No info on his death. Married Elizabeth Hahn in the First Reformed & Trinity First Reformed Church in York, PA on August 15, 1779. They had seven children as far as I can tell, one of them was Abram (Abraham). Christian is mentioned in the census of 1790 in York, PA.
Would love to exchange info.

Are you able to tie the Schroll family, namely Abraham Schroll, to Crawford County, Indiana? My family history from my Dad doesn't take the family back any further then Abraham Shroll born in Crawford County, Indiana. I would love to have any information that you might have.

I am posting another message to correct a mistake I made in February. My Shroll family was from Crawford, OHIO not Crawford, Indiana. Sorry for the confusion. I have been looking at some microfilm at a local Family History Center near where I live. I believe that my Abraham was Probably the nephew of the Abraham you mentioned in your message. I found an IGI file on the familysearch.org site that lists a Daniel Shroll as the father of a Abraham Shroll born in 1812 in York, York, Pennsylvania. I would love to know what more you might know about this Shroll family. Seems that several brothers died of cholera in 1835 who were living in Crawford County. Roger Miller rogerlmiller@home.com

Yes the Schroll family I'm tracking is descended from Johann Schroll of Bayern Germany. But Daniel Schroll is also part of that lineage. This side of the family I have traced, with a lot of help, up to the eighth generation, which includes me. I would be happy to send you what I have. Not sure of the relationship to your Abraham Schroll - I have no record of him. My Abraham is one of seven children born to Christian and Anna (Hahn) of York County, PA.
