James Pelton was the son of Phoebe and William Pelton. Pheobe, with her second husband, Abner Harrell, were early settlers in Saline County, Arkansas. I have substantial information on the Pelton family. James and Aurilla are my great-great-great-grandparents.

There is a Pelton Family Reunion in Benton, AR on Saturday, June 24th if you are interested.

Art Williams: I have been working with several Pelton families in
TX and AR over the last few years to trace their Pelton lineage. Saw
your note on the board stating you have much information on that group. I
wrote the 1992 Pelton update genealogy book from the one done in 1892.
I am always looking for new Pelton families as I get many inquiries
