Happy New Year. Good to hear from you. I am actually tracing Mary's line - Harris. I have her documented with DNA, but do not have much data on her immediate McCollum family.

You said son (John) married Rhoda Rosebrough abt 1815. I believe this would be Mary's nephew; Rhoda was born 1794 and lived probably in Lincoln Co. TN.

If Mary's line interests you, please email me:

I tried to get this suit, but no record could be found
in Paris 9th District October Term 1826.

This James B. Harris is my direct line, son of James Harris and Susannah Gass; grandson of Samuel Harris and Rebecca Morrison.

I have this line well documented. DNA Group 3 Harrisdna.org

Margaret Harris b abt 1755 Iredell, NC. I have that William died Oct 10,

near Memphis, TN.

David and Orpha moved to Madison County, Al and died there. Their son
married my great grandfather's sister, Martha Crews Williams.
