Help with Translation, 1748, Sønder Nærå
Opslag 32 in the 1732-1788 portion of the kirkebog; it is the first entry in the year 1748. The name is Anders Knudsen, and while I know his christening date of 14 January, I can't make out anything else. Does it mention his mother?
Hoping that the digital transcription will be completed soon. It's so wonderful to be able to search either a PDF or else enter information into the DDD.
Appreciate the help so much!

Normally in baptism records, you will not find the name of the mother before end of the 1780s or start 1790s.

Thank you so much. No mention of the mother, unless A.M. gave birth to him - but I believe she would be one of the sponsors? I'll see if I can find a marriage record for Knud Knudsen; perhaps I'll need help with that, too. :)

Kaj, here is the birth record of Anders' brother, Otto Diederich. Would you be so kind as to read this one, also? I can make out many of the various records I find (with minimal Danish knowledge) but this pastor's handwriting has got the best of me, I suppose!
Thanks so much.

Re: Help with Translation, 1748, Sønder Nærå
Sorry - Otto D. was the son of Anders, and brother of my own direct ancestor Knud Andersen. Here is his own record. Perhaps a clue can be found there.
Again, thanks so much.
