I am looking for information on my gggg grandfather, Andrew Huston/Houston Born 1780, died about 1850. He married Elizabeth Green, born 1780, died 2/12/1844 on 1/30/1803, in Lancaster, Fairfield County, OH. Elizabeth is buried in Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, Ohio. It seems she is buried alone. Does anybody know where Andrew is buried?

Thank you

I have been investigating a mysterious Andrew Huston, who died before 1852, and left land in Fulton County, IN to these heirs: Andrew, Jacob, Sampson, William H., and Solomon Huston, as well as Eleanor (Huston) Dillman. Eleanor Huston was born about 1817 in PA (?), and married Jacob Dillman in 1833 in Ross County, OH. Solomon Huston lived for a time in Tippecanoe Co. IN, where he married Lucinda Jester in 1841. Sampson Huston married Ellen Tullis in 1848 in Tippecanoe County. Jacob was married to Charlesette, and they may have lived in Cass Co., IN. William H. Dillman married Elizabeth McDill in 1850 in Tippecanoe Co., IN. Is this Andrew Huston possibly the one you're looking for?

I too am a descendant of Andrew Huston and his wife Elizabeth Green. I only have the following dates for them:
Andrew Huston married Elizabeth Green, Feb 26, 1803, Fairfield co, Ohio. Elizabeth was born Berkely Co, Va in 1780, and died Feb 12, 1844, Ohio. She is buried in Green Hill Cemetary, while Andrew seems to be unaccounted for having the last known place for him as a hotel in Iowa, near where some of his children moved. Andrew's daughter, Mary Polly Huston married John Blamer, and they were the parents of Louisa Blamer, who married Isaac Mitchell. Isaac and Louisa are my great grandparents.

How did you come up with birth and death dates for Andrew? I have never seen them listed anywhere, nor where he came from before 1803, Fairfield, Ohio, when he married Elizabeth. Elizabeth's people were Virginians, and there were many Houston/Huston people in Virginia. I have been attempting to hunt for him down those lines as well, without much success. Please contact me. I am searching for my g.grandfather, Andrew Jackson Huston or Houston on my Mother's side. A Polly Ann (perhaps a nickname for Mary) Huston or Houston, b. 1841...supposedly in Schuyler Co,MO...and married a L.E. Hubbard in 1865, there. She had two sons and a daughter...Deliah Josephine Hubbard, my g.mother. Polly Ann's death certif. is dated 1914, Texas Co, Houston, MO. Could we have some of the same info?
