We are distant cousins. John was born 12 April 1818 in Union County (allegedly), PA. He married Elizabeth Hinkal (also spelled Hinkle) on 21 March 1841 in White Pine. Children were: Jacob H., 1 June 1843, George 1845, John Roseberry (also spelled Rosebury) Weigel, 1850 and Mary E. Weigle 1857. John was a steadfast member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He is buried, I believe, in the church cemetery known as the White Pine Church, two miles out of town. I need to get his baptism information of any information because his brother, Lewis, is my great great grandfather. Lewis was born Nov. 3, 1808 supposedly in Berks County. There is no record but I haven't tried tax records. Lewis had a farm near John's in White Pine and although he was a weaver, he went into the lumber business. Lewis married a Mary Sasserman/Sussaman/Saussermarn and had a bunch of children whose names I can supply in a later email. There is a third brother, Henry, who married, had no children and went to Corning NY. I am on his trail as well. Please let me know if you have found out anything further, I will be happy to share. Also do you know any male Weigel cousins living? Jill Weigel, Chicago, IL
