My great grandfather, I believe he is Irish, but Im not sure theres a story that he originally was a delaney but then got into some problems with the law and had to change his last name to Isaacs when he got to KY is there anyway I could search this, or confirm this, please help.
Additional info: My dad=Vernon L. Isaacs, son of Vernon L.Isaacs we know my grandfather's mom is Icie Lee Love they will either be in Hamilton Ohio or Laurel Kentucky. I want to know if im irish pretty much lol and if the storys true.

Do you have any dates on these ancestors? When they were in KY, approximate birth/death dates, etc.? It will be harder for anyone to try to help you without more info than you have here.
