Does anyone know if there is a list of the names of the people who joined the armed forces for WWII from Williamson Co.? Or where I might be able to find this information.

Yes, there is a book called "The Men and Women in World War II from Williamson County" with a short bit about their service, sometimes their next of kin and a service picture. I have a fragile copy of the book. If you have a few names you would like looked up, I will be glad to do so. FYI, not all that served from Williamson County are in the book.
