Does anyone know of a living descendant of Anna Doherty and Hugh Doherty. Anna's maiden name was "Meade". She had siblings, some whom predeceased her and their names were Thomas, Matthew, Lucy, and Nellie Romesser and a sister in Ireland who was a nun.. Hugh and Anna had two daughters at the 1910 Census living in the Town of Gates. Anna died Sept. 20, 1922.
I would appreciate any info. on these families. Thanks.

Welcome to NY, so break out your checkbook:, and you -need- a certificate number if you do not want to pay them to search that:

By NY State law that index cannot be put online anywhere. sigh.

sometimes you have to dig deep, thanks for sending.
The Meade family came from Ireland beginning of 1900's, one married my Gr. Uncle Frank Romesser, some illness we are trying to trace. Anna had a sister who was a nun in Ireland, doubt she ever came over. Sister Hilarion.
