What concerns me is the name... Big Tree.

Does that mean Ancestry is going to try another Borg tree like FamilySearch Family Tree - or maybe (God Forbid!) a re-issue of OneWorldTree?? !!!

Since the person sought would "Define success metrics and reporting needs to monitor post-launch performance" of "this new family tree system" called "Big Tree," it does sound like a re-run of OWT, possibly in a wiki-tree version.

FamilySearch's "Family Tree" and its predecessor are not the only borg-trees on the web. The "success metrics" are indeed the main issues.

It is funny that they could not decide whether they are looking for a "Principle" or a "PRINCIPAL". Still don't have dictionaries on-site?

Yeah, because their current group of trees consist of a lot of garbage. It certainly would be appropriate if they could somehow dump the ones with insane entries and start all over again. Ahhh, but one can dream...
