Can't Delete Certain File Types

Several years ago my website files includes some files types such as ZIP, and WAV files. At some point rootsweb no longer supported these types of files and I have not been able to delete them. This causes all sorts of problems when I try to update the site using Frontpage. Does anyone know how to get these file types deleted? I have tried changing their permissions, but I still get an error.

Hi,

have you tried changing the files' extension, for instance from .zip to .htm or similar, and then delete them?

Yes, I have tried to rename them, move them, change their permissions and all are denied.

That's why you have to ask the HelpDesk for assistance. They can notify staff to delete them per your request.

I received a reply from the customer service and they are going to delete them for me.
