My g+4 grandmother emigrated from Tiperary County Ireland in 1836. She married a Fitzpatrick from Wilkes County. He was killed by the indians in the Creek uprising. I am researching my geneology currently and would like any information you have. My grandmother + name was Elizabeth Agnes (not certain on spelling of last name). Could be Agnus or ?. Don't even know if they could write then.

Hello Connie,

I will give you all the information that I have. I am looking for Patrick and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick because my GG Grandfather John Mines stayed with them in 1850 he shows up in the census at their home. I am trying to find out which part of Ireland John is from. I am going to Ireland in May2004 and I wanted to be able to visit his place of birth etc.

I do not, but I have his name on my list of people to watch for and if I do find him, will let you know. I do suspect that he is from Tiperary County, Ireland, however. Seems that these people tended to stick together. Have you gone to the Irish site? A few counties are posted there, but not Tiperary.

Connie,

Do you happen to know what county Patrick Fitzpatrick was from? Did any of the information I sent you help in anyway?
