Thanks for your reply. Looking for where they lived in Mecklenburg.

I am looking for help with my great great grandfather Carl Rudolph Meyers and his wife Louise.

Believe Departure date from Hamburg Germany to be close to May 5, 1857.

1) Germans to America (book) for June 19th Lists:
Carl Meyer, age 29, Farmer; Louise Meyer, age 26; Carl Meyer, 8
months.

2) The New York Daily Times, June 18, 1857 had this arrival notice.
Arrived New York June 17
Ship Edward Everett (of Baltimore,) [captain] Gunby, Antwerp, 40ds.,
in ballast and 264 passengers to [agents] Bech and Kumhardt.

3) New York Arrival list:

Passenger-Carl Meyer
Age-29
Gender-Male
Occupation-Farmer
Last residence-Germany
Date of arrival-June 19, 1857
Final destination-US
Purpose for travel-Staying in US

Captain- F A Gunby
Manifest ID #00008955
Port of embarkation-Marseilles

The rest of the information is identical to that of Carl

Passenger-Carl Meyer

The rest of the information is identical to that of the elder Carl

4) US Censuses listed him as being from Mecklenburg.

I am really hoping I can make a connection to a specific region of Mecklenburg.

More specifically hoping that the German "Emigration" lists written in German have this information and I know they are on Ancectry.com. Thank you,
Jesse
