I was wondering if anyone had or knows of any books on the history of Arnprior. I am looking for information in regards to a hotel owned by the John Campbell family around the 1880's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info, but the site seems to be under construction. I will check again in a couple of weeks.

There is a book called the Arnprior Story by Leo Lavoie 1984. On page 80 there is a discription of The Campbell House. If this is the one you are referring to I could send you a copy of the discription.

Yes, the name of John and Abigail's establishment was Campbell House.
Thank you for your offer. You can send it to me direct at maureen.chapman2@sympatico.ca
Your kindness is much appreciated.
