Death Record - Experience Higgins Richardson

Death Record - Experience Higgins Richardson

Surnames: Higgins, Richardson
My 5x great grandmother Experience Higgins was born about 1781 in Massachusetts. She married Jesse Richardson on 22 Aug 1799 in Litchfield, ME, and lived there with him until sometime between 1822 and 1830 when they seem to have been separated or divorced. She appears in the 1840 census for Augusta, ME living alone as "Experience Richardson", and I cannot find her after that. I'm hoping to find a death record for her that might tell me the names of her parents. If anyone can find something locally it would be much appreciated!

Wow! That is fantastic. Thank you so much for finding this. It gives me the possibility that the court documents might give more detail about both my grandparents. Thank you again!

Yes, I had seen this, but the birth year being off by 14 years made me question it. Either it's her and she got divorced and moved in with someone in her husband's family, or it's another woman named Experience who married into that family. Can't be sure yet.
