Surnames: pasishnek
I'm looking for information about my grand parents George (Yurko) and Wasylki(lena) Pasishnek. Does any one know when they came to Canada. Who was grandmother Waslki parents? Grand father was born 1874 and died 1955 in buchanan sk and grandmother was born 1883 and died 1961.

I think this might be your family in the census records. The date of immigration changes from 1899 or 1900 depending on the record.

George [YURKO] PASISHNEK b 1874 Dcd 1955 in Buchanan Saskatchewan.
Wasylki [Lena] PASISHNEK b 1883 -dcd 1961

Depending on the knowledge of the Informant - should show -Date place of Birth -
Names of Parents including maiden name of mother.

Were your Grandparents married in Canada - Saskatchwan
REGISTRATION of MARRIAGE - Long form Marriage Certificate
Should Show age - Place of Birth - Names of both sets of Parents including Maiden name of the Mother - Place of birth of parents [perhaps]

NATURALIZATION: Your Grandfather may have made application for Naturalization .
This informatin is available - check with Provincial Archive.
May show Name , Date and Place of Birth - Names of Parents.
Date and Port of Departure - Date and Port of Arrival
Name of Passenger ship.
