I do not seem to have a record of any of the Bartons that you mention. I have Stella, Ruby, Oliver, LaVerne, and Herbert for first names. There could be more females, but I do not know their married names.

Aloha Marjorie,
The Barton's I know of started with my Gr.Grandfather's (James Harrison)sister Anne. Anne born in England, married a Frederick Barton and they came with their Children to Edgerton, WI. In 1930 my Gr.Grandparents celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Present were:Mrs. Fred Barton, Mr. and Mrs. James Barton & family(?), Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barton and family(?). I know there was a Fred Barton Jr. and his family who lived in Beloit. I am not sure about any names of younger Bartons. I dont know if Roy was a son of James or Fred Jr.
Aloha Barbara

Maybe no connection, but my grandfather Henry H. Barton married grandmother Edith LaBranch, who was born at rural Rice Lake, Barron County, WI 12/6/1878. They were married in Nebraska in 1895. Henry's father, Silas Ransome Barton II, came from New York and lived in Michigan, Missouri and Fulton County, Illinois before going to Nebraska in 1878. Edith's mother's maiden name was Dessair or Desair.

Marjorie,

Do you have information on the Wooldridge or Woolridge family in Barron Co.? I am searching for descendants of William Wooldridge who married my relative Elvira E. Tucker on 25 Dec 1882 in Barron Co. Did the Wooldridges come from Clayton Co., Iowa? Where did William and Elvira end up? Thanks for any help.

Jeff

I have a Josephine Hawley marrying a John Wooldridge and having children named Johnny, Archie, Norman, Grace and George. John Wooldridge was a truck gardiner who delivered Vegetables to his partons in Barron Wisconsin.
Dates for their marriage I do not have and the article skipped around so much that I would not even hazzard a guess. John and Josephine had Norman, Archie and Grace all before March 10, 1901.
That is all I know of the Wooldridges. Sorry I could not be of more help
