The continuing McElvain saga--Floyd Denzel McElvain's parents were James N. McElvain and Carrie Webster. I need info on their birthdates and locations. Floyd had a brother named Webster and one named Elmer.

My husband's grandfather was Floyd Denzel McElvain. I guess that makes us cousins! Thanks for the info. I am now a full time RVer so my genealogy research is a bit more erratic than it used to be. I did not have all the children's names and can now fill in my database. I would love to get my hands on a copy of William Ordways book. I know it is out of print. Any ideas?

Classification: Query
It has been several years since I tried to work on this line of the family. Do you know Caroline's parents names? I believe her father could have been Floyd Webster but have no proof. One of the children of Caroline Webster and James N. McElvain was named Floyd Denzel McElvain. This was my husband's grandfather. Please advise if you were ever able to solve the Webster line.
