Yes, there really was a Symon Renfry, Renfree, Refo.
Symon had two named children, baptized in 1652: Simon and Hester. Robert Renfree was also in Barbados m. Susan Holmes in 1662 and Mary Evans in 1667 with ten acres of land. Robert was listed in Barbados until 1679.Then on Hotton's list for VA about 1690.

See Barbados Records under Baptisms 1637- 1800. Compiled and edited by Joanne NcRee Sanders, genealogical publishing co., Baltimore, 1984 p. 3:
In St. Michael Parish, p. 25 of vol. RL1/1, records for year of 1652. Feb. 14 Hester ye dau of Simon Rensfree, and Jan 4, Symon ye son of Simon Renfrey. The early Symon transported to James Citty in VA colony by Jeremiah Dickenson on May 6, 1638. (See Cavaliers and Pioneers, Vol. 1, p. 86. He must have left VA, as no trace of him after arrival, went to Barbados.
