I'm looking for Elisha Busby, B:1765 in The Orangeburg Dist between the Edisto Forks. He married Elizabeth Gunter in 1790. She was b:1772 in N.C. They had at least 2 boys and at least 1 girl. They moved to Crawford Co., GA, then off to Coffee Co., AL finally settling in Walton Co., FL.

Any help will greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Julius

I don't have the requested info but believe my branch moved further downstate about 1850, originating around Charleston, thenpossibly Orangeburg, then to Alabama, then two brothers, Lawrence and Oliver, I think, came by covered wagon and separated on the west coast around Inglis,Florida, one remaining and the other pressing on to just south of present Tampa to become one of the nine founding families of Ruskin, Hillsborough County. You've probably corresponded with James Christopher Buzbee, Apollo Beach, Florida. He and his wife Ellie have researched and traveled extensively. Good luck, another J.H. Buzbee

Julius,
Have you discovered any other information on Elisha or Elizabeth? I am researching this line also. Elisha, William Harrison Buzbee, William Harrison Jr.(Harrison is listed in the civil war military records as middle name), Frank Jackson, and Auburn. They settled in South Ala. and Fla. Elizabeth was living with Fredrick in the 1850 Coffee Co. census. Also listed is William's family. Can't find anything on Elisha.
Thanks,
Carol
