i would like to find the following couple on the above census's if possible.

james white overton born 1836/7 and his wife julia lucy also
born 1836/37.

the name seems to change to white-overton or whiteoverton,i
would love to know their place of birth and of any children.

i know that james died in dec 1890 aged 53 yrs in the islington area.this is also where they should be on all the census.i have had a really bad job in trying to trace them in 1881 particually.

any help would be greatly appreciated. regards john

I am sorry for the long delay in answering....but i am the friend of Patricia (Pat) Holland,whose late mother was Margaret B White-Overtonwho i believe may be your late sister.

I have traced the name back to a James White Overton who was born in Liverpool about 1834.Previous to himhis parents according to census detailscame from Birmingham.The atual surname starts out as Overton.The White was a middle name.
