Does anyone have a photo of Joseph Johns and his wife Frainie's graves? Is his house still there? Does anyone have a photo? I found mention of his house in "The history of Cambria County, Pennsylvania". Could someone send me a copy of the photo of his house from this book? It is on p. 80. First House in Johnstown, Built by Joseph Johns, Probably in 1793.

Are you related to the Johns family too?

Do you have a photo of Joseph Johns' wife Veronica "Freny" Johns' grave? Do you have any photos of them? What information do you have information about them and their ancestors?

Did you stay at the bed and breakfast there?

If I remember right, and I'm going back some 40/50 years the monument in the Central Park in Johnstown lists Johns name as Schwantz(?).or something of that ilk. What is on his tombstone. Didn't know that he was buried in Davidsville.

The correct spelling is Schantz it's the Dutch spelling of Johns. I'm trying to find my connection to Joseph Johns I got as far as finding James J. Johns wife was Catharine. Does anyone know if this is a decendent of Joseph Johns?
