I haven't posted queries about my ancestor, Francis MOORE, in a long time. He lived in 1630's Cambridge, MA, and had 2 children that I know of, son, Francis, Jr., also of Cambridge. And a daughter, Anna MOORE, who married my ancestor, James KIDDER, ~1649 in Cambridge. There is a large book about their descendants, but I did not know of any book about Francis MOORE's descendants. In fact, there are a lot of questions and mysteries about whether he had other children and who they were.
I recently e-mailed the Editor of the NEHGS publication, "Register," and asked if I could get a copy of an article about Francis' sister, Mrs. Sarah GREENLEAF. I received a response yesterday. See below.
It mentions a 1934 book about the MOORE people in the Colonies. I'm curious whether this is the same book you mention in this posting.

FYI: If researchers check the archives of this Board, and the archives of the Board at www.genforum.com
you will find lists of other books and documents which mention the MOORE name in the Colonies.
This is a belated reply to your email of December 14.
If you were an NEHGS member, you would be able to read the 1968 Greenleaf article on NewEnglandAncestors.org. I assume you are not, so I have made a photocopy of the article and will send it to you, once you send me your mailing address.
In the package I will put the NEHGS library catalog entry for the 1934 standard book on all Moore families in the colonies, and the entry for a 2003 book with a brief account of Francis Moore. As I work at home, not at NEHGS, I cannot copy from these works for you.

FYI: It is reported that Golden MORE of 1630's Cambridge, MA, was a brother of Francis MOORE.
