My subscription to Ancestry has expired. Can I search and add new records my tree using the Ancestrylibrary site on the computers in the local library?

Thanks
Carol

Sort of. You can access your tree via your logon and their internet connection and have full access to edit your tree.

On the Library ACOM subscription (which is a different account and login), you can search and locate documentation, save to your computer, print, ect.

You will not however be able to merge and link what you find to your tree. You can always Print and manually enter the data into your tree.

Using Ancestry at the library is one option. Another for census is Heritagequest through your local library assuming they have a subscription. Our local one does and Heritagequest can be accessed through your home computer. Another option is Familysearch which is free. You can also use findagrave. Many times I find family there that can be found no other place.
