I am a direct descendant of Guilford Peavy. He had a brother named luke Mizell Peavy and one brother named Issac. As far as I know Guilford lived his entire life in Screven County. He is listed in the census of 1880 in Screven and is known to have died about 1882 but no one knows where he is buried.

Their parents were Joseph and Nancy Mizell Peavy .Joseph is said to have died in Screven but had lived in Randolph co. Nancy was issued by Luke and Patience Daughtry Mizell.Luke was married at least twice. Patience was the duaghter of Micheal mother unknown
