I have only one Hoeppner in my database, but one never knows what may be helpful. I have a Berta Emilie Auguste Wittkopf (1863-1919), daughter of Henriette Berta Auguste Bartel (1842-1915) and Friedrich Wittkopf (1833-1865). Berta E.A. Wittkopf married a Reinhold Hoeppner in Boock, Pomerania.

Hope you get many helpful responses.

Some of my father's cousins are Hoeppners, and many still
reside around LaPorte, IN. I have little information
myself, but could get it from local church records
if needed.

My Grandmother was a Hoeppner. Her father, Frederick Adam Hoeppner came to the States in 1900 from Ellrich, Germany. I would be glad to share the information I have with anyone who is interested.

I don't recognize that particular name but that really doesn't mean anything. She could possibly be a relative and I say that because of the area that they were from. I will need some more information to see if there is a connection. Some of the names that I have are:

Michael Hoeppner m. Regina Loerke (Duchow?)
They had 7 children:
William m. Carrie Rose
Anne m. Reinhold Bohnstengle
Albert
Fred C. m. Clara Bleck
Mary m. Albert Brose
Frank J. m. Anne Hummerich
Walter m. Florence Last

Te first 4 children were born in Germany and the last 3 were born in the U.S.

I hope this helps. I am interested to know if there is a connection.

My grandfather on my father's side was Walter Kielhorn.. He lived in Cherokee Iowa (and died there about 1983) I spent my youth summers on his farm and was named after him ( and my mother's father, Lee)
