Church Point Native Americans

I've been searching for my native american heritage. My great, great grandparents lived in Church Point in the 1900s. Can you direct me to someone that may be able to help. I live in Michigan and cannot drive to your town. I know I have a native american blood line because my daughter has a mongolian birth mark (prevelant in native americans). My dad spoke of his grandfather Eugene Taylor and grandmother Eula Mae (LeDoux) living on a reservation.

Any help is much appreciated.

Only native Americans I am aware of are those people with Acadian roots whose history is métis- Acadian and Mi'kmaq blood lines. From your surnames it appears your people may have migrated from East Coast of U.S. to northern Louisiana, then settled in Southwest Louisiana.
