I am looking for newspapers from 1890 that may cover Circuit court trials in Franklin County. My great-grandfather, James David "Dock" Morrow, was convicted and sentenced in 1890 for manslaughter. I would really like to read about the case or find the court records for the case.
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks,

The franklin county courthouse was in Belgreen at that time and burned mysteriously - all records were lost. I don't have the exact day and month that this occurred.

Several excerpts from newspapers concerning Dock Morrow are listed here.

There is also a record for him on ancestry.com "Alabama Convict Records, 1886-1952"
