Where would be a great place to get in contact with to try and get a copy of an obituary of someone who died in Napa County? The person whose obituary that I interested in died in Napa in the year 1964. Any and all help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for everything.

That's my question too. After looking at this thread, it looks like people have often done research and replied to posts with the info - so I tried it!

I am a volunteer with the Napa Valley Genealogical Society and monitor the Rootsweb Message Board. Our library has the obits for the Napa Valley from 1970 to the present. I will post those obits as they appear on the board. Obituaries prior to that time require a researcher to make a visit to the City County Library.
