1880 Census 5th Ward Claiborne,Louisiana
John VanHooser 58
Fannie VanHooser 28
Lily VanHooser 6
Sampson VanHooser 3
Piney VanHooser 3 months
Hugh Holder 25
James Evans 21

This John Vanhooser may well be the husband of Jane Holder of Warren Co.Tn.I have seen a post that Bill Holder had posted showing John VanHooser's place of death being Arcadia,Louisiana,Jane VanHooser is shown in the 1880 Warren Co. Tennessee census in the household of her son Samuel VanHooser I assumed Jane was widowed in fact the online 1880 census on ancestry.com shows her as being widowed,I have found no records to indicate John VanHooser died in Warren Co. and as far as census records 1870 is the last time he shows up,so maybe they got divorced
Hugh Holder shown in Johns household could possibly be the son of Berryman Holder and Sarah Smith of Warren Co Tn.John VanHooser would be the uncle of Hugh Holder.
This theory may be a reach if anyone is researching this line I would appreciate any input you might have

Do you know if anyone from your group has taken the HOLDER DNA test ?

http://www.holderdna.com/

This would define which group the Bailor Holder belongs. I believe it should show a group D2 connection, but it might not.
