Theodore DeForest's (who died at the Rouse Hospital(Youngsville,PA)in 1917) body was shipped to Philadelphia, PA for medical research. How do we find if his remains were then buried (what cemetery?) or cremated? We still cannot trace him from 1880 to his death in 1917. He was supposed to be a former resident of Kinzua, PA, but have not found him.

I don't know how much this will help, but here is some information about the records. I think you have to research the records yourself or hire a researcher.

Sorry that reply didn't go to you! I have not had time to look into this yet, hope to soon. It just seems like there should be some marker or something for them. I had thought he might have gone to Sulpher Springs for a cure, because that was close to the Rouse at that time and then he ended up at the Rouse Hospital. But, that would have taken money to do that and I am not sure what his financial condition would have been at the time, being admitted one day and passing away the next, it had to have been set up before.
Thanks for your reply!

In this link there is a link to a PDF form titled "Mail Reference Order Form." Researchers may want to use it rather than writing a letter.
