Indirekte route; 1883 Danish ancestors

Indirekte route; 1883 Danish ancestors

Surnames: Nielsen, Petersen, Pedersen
I have the exact dates and information when my Danish ancestors emigrated from Denmark. I have hit a "brick wall" and need help to find clear, definite information: they traveled indirectly (=Indirekte route) on their journey to America. There is a huge "gap" of much needed information regarding ship passenger records, port of departure and port/date of arrival.
Let's start with the 1st ancestor.
Name: Petersen, Hans Christian. Occupation; Tyende (m/k land)
Age 21; Destination: Eau Claire, Wisc.
Contract no: 84500 Registration date: 4/3/1883
Last res. parish: Longelese (Langeland) Last res. county: Svendborg, Denmark
Last residense: Longelese,Svendb. Destination country:USA
Destination city: Eau Claire. Destination state: Wisconsin.
Name of ship: Indirekte.
ID code: 18284P1407.

Thank you to any and all who help with my "brick wall"!
Glenda

Hi Glenda,

Not sure if this is your Hans.. as he is indexed as Hans P. Petersen...

Too many things match up, so I thought it would be worth posting...

This particular Hans also traveled with Jens Petersen who appears to be one year older...

Unfortunately, this boat record is somewhat damaged and a little worn...
