William Lazarus Hardiman DOTSON and Henrietta LANDRUM, Marriage and children

Surnames: Dotson, Landrum
I have a marriage date of 30 May 1870 in Beaver, Utah for William Lazarus Hardiman DOTSON and Henrietta LANDRUM, but their daughter, Ida DOTSON has a birthdate of 22 July 1861. Is the marriage date wrong, is the birth date wrong, or is it possible that Ida had a different mother? Any information that would help clear this up would be appreciated. Thank you

William Lazarus Hardiman Dotson b: 13 Feb 1833 in Pickens County, Alabama d: 5 Mar 1920 in Minersville, Beaver, Utah was a Mormon polygamist. He was married to two woman. His first marriage was to Henrietta Landrum b: 1 Oct 1832 in Jefferson County, Alabama d: 11 Sep 1902 in Minersville, Beaver, Utah and occurred on 3 Jul 1853 in Attala County, Mississippi. That marriage produced 8 children, 2 sons and 6 daughters; one of which was Ida Dotson b: 22 Jul 1861 in Vermillion Parish, Louisiana d: 7 Mar 1944 in Evanston, Uinta, Wyoming.

William's second marriage was to Samantha Jane McDonough b: 12 May 1844 in Summerville, Mississippi d: 26 Nov 1929 in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona. I have search for a Summerville anywhere in Mississippi and so far I cannot find it. This marriage produced one daughter. Samantha was married three times, her second was to William on 30 May 1870 in Salt Lake City. Her last marriage was to Austin Shipp on 17 Sep 1873 in Salt Lake and her find a grave record can be found at: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=SH...;

William's find a grave record can be found at: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=DO...;

There are several sources to support this data including the 1870, 1880 and 1900 census records, Utah Census records, and a Sons of the Utah Pioneers Membership Applications for a 2nd great-grandson of William.

Let me know if you need any thing else, hope this helps.
