MOSES, HAGER, HANSEMAN from Germany - Jewish?

Surnames: Moses, Hager, Hanseman
I have a lot of family that came from Germany, and a lot of their surnames can be found in Jewish databes. I'm trying to figure out if I have any Jewish ancestry. Some of the names include:

Joshua Moses - 1647-1711 Grimmen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany

Jacob Moses - 1687-1728 Grimmen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany

Jacob Joshua Moses - 1704-1751 Kloster Malchow, Muritz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany

Henry Hager - 1827-1897 Hanover, Germany

Henry Hanseman - 1828-1885 Unknown City, Germany

Sophia Hanseman - 1831-1903 Unknown City, Germany

Any suggestions on how I can figure out if these people were Jewish would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Josh

most jews did not have surnames as far back as your names go. the ancestry site seems to erroneously list nonjews under these databases for whatever reason and it is most misleading to researchers.

unless you have accesss to vital records or headstones or rituial o bjects in family it is really hard to pr ove .
