Augustus Hamlin Kimler married Prudence Isander Osborne. They had 4 children that I know of.
1) Moses Frederic,born May 15, 1881 in Gibson City, Ford Co, Il. Married Ella Webb in Fl, They had a son, Fred Augustus.
2)Tracy(Dau),married a Hanney, they lived in Quincy,Fl
3)Glenn, lived in Davenport, Fl
4)Clyde,lived in Raleigh, NC
5)Charlie, in Miami, Fl
Moses Frederic died on Sept 17,1950 in Worth Co, Ga

I read a message that you received on Nov 11,2000.
My great grandparents also were William and Louisa Barnett Kimler of which I just found out on Sept.9.2001.
My grandfather was William Ellis Kimler born Leroy IL. b.Sept.22,1850 so he was the brother to Agustus Harland Kimler.

Please tell me all the info that you have on our family. Do you have anything on my grandmother Mable C. Miller (married to William Ellis Kimler)?
My grandfather William Ellis Kimler died on Dec.23,1913 when my mother Marjorie Claire (Gray)Kimler was only 3 years of age so we knew nothing of grandfather other than he died of the colorea.

Hello, I am a descendant of Julius Kimler brother of Augustus (middle name Harland?) Kimler. The 1860 McLean Co. Il Census shows Augustus born about 1851 and brother William born about 1857. Info I have from others says Augustus married Prudence Osborn in 1870. They had children William (probably your William Clyde), Moses, Charles, Tracey, Augustus and Lehman.

I have a Federick Moses Kimler, b. 1881 in Illinois, that was married to my gr.gr. Aunt Nellie May Kimball. She was born in Illinos then later moved to Georgia with her parents about 1898. In the 1900 census there is an Augustus H Kimler, b 1851 in Illinois, and his family living in Irwin County, Georgia close by the family of Nellie May. In the Kimball family the story goes that they ran off much to the displeasure of her family. The 1910 census has them in New Smyrna, Volusia, Fl. The 1920 census shows them separated with her living with her parents and him living in Kansas City, Mo. She is listed as married and he is listed as single. In the Florida Divorce Index there was a divorce granted to a Nellie May Kimler and a Fred M Kimler in 1938, cerificate #5110. I am trying to find out if this is the same Frederick Moses Kimler that married and had a child with Ella E Webb. Any help would be greatly appreciated since this has been a mystery in the Kimball family history for a while. We would love to know what happen to our Frederick Moses Kimler. Many Thanks in advance for any info.
