My GG Grandmother was NANCY G. LOCKMAN daughter of Elihu P. Lockman and Elizabeth Thompson-Lockman.

Nancy G. Lockman married William D. THOMPSON in Lincoln County NC and after he was killed at Gettysburg some time after 1870 she married Hezikiah C. Barkley.

She is buried beside Barkley at Bethel United Methodist Church on Slanting Bridge Road in Denver, NC.

William D. Thompsons mother was Francis Shelton.
Her mother was Perline CALDWELL.

I have additional information on LOCKMAN and CALDWELL.

If you are interested Reply with E-mail.

I'm searching for information on Rufus Littleton Caldwell/Coldwell born Nov. 6, 1828 in Lincoln Co., NC. He came to Mo. in 1853 with his brother-in-law Monroe Hoover. Do you know anything about Rufus?

Thanks
