Does anyone have any information on an Isaac Fail, reportedly born in Pennsylvania (or possibly Virginia), or any of his ancestors? I beleive he moved on to Kansas.

Yes, there are several of us working on this
at the present time. My paternal great-grandmother was a Fail.

Re: Isaac Fail.

An Isaac Fail is my great-great grandfather. According to info I have, he was born in 1801 in ?VA? and died 21 Jan 1863 in Harrison, MO. With wife, Electa Rathbun (born 1804, died after 1880), a son was Ira Webster Fail (my great-grandfather). Ira Webster was married to Mary Obedience Smith and, after her death, to Adelade Campbell. With Adelade, a son was my greadfather, John Lincoln Fail.

HI,
Are you the Darrell Fanestill that was born in Great Bend, KS?
Do you have any information on a George W. Fail. He was born in Illinois but spent many years as a farmer in Davis Co., IA. He had a son Samuel W. Fail that enlisted in the 36th IA Infantry. After the war they ended up in Missouri. I am wondering if there is a connection between Isaac and George W. but can't seem to find much info on George.
BTW I have some more concrete dates for Isaac and Electa if you would like them.

Thanks
KayLynne

I have some on George W. Fail. He lived the last years in Schyler Co. Mo with second wife, Mary Martin Wood(s). They had one son, Nicholas who is my great grandfather.
