Thanks, Martha - Yes, Lillian is where my mother grew up and most of the Meisenheimers in that cemetary are ancestors of mine. My grandmother is buried there along with many of her family members. I just wish I could get a line on the parents of Wilson Lee (my great-grandfather). I'd love to know when the family came from Germany and how they got to Texas from possibly South Carolina.
Thanks again!

Linda, I've got a family tree of Meisenheimers who came from Germany. Do you know about the Meisenheimer family reunion that is held the weekend after Labor Day in Carrabus County, NC? I can send you information if you would like and can give you the names of some of the Meisenheimers who have done extensive research on the family. I live in Fort Worth. My g/fathers family came from the Stephenville area and my g/mother's family from Lillian. It was when I went to the Lillian cemetary searching for the graves of her mother and brother (they were Bardins) that I saw all of the Meisenheimers buried there. It surprised me to know there had been so many in Johnson County. You can e-mail me at MJFralia@aol.com

My great great grandfather was Adam Meisenheimer who i think was born in Denmark, though the Ontario Census says German decent. His wife was Jane Lavinia HARVIE of Nova Scotia. She was buried in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada so I wonder if they ended their days there. Their son, my great grandfather, was John E. MEISENHEIMER. John E. Married Minnie NEWELL. He was born abot 1864 in Weston, York, Ontario, Canada. They were married 12 Nov. 1887 in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. Their children were Stella Mabel, 1888, Embert, 27 June 1890 and William Ellis, 2 Feb 1893 (my grandfather). Can you verify Adam's origin, his birth date, his parents etc? Does anyone have a link to this family?

I have a Wilson L. Meisenheimer in my tree, but I only have two children listed, neither one is your grandmother, so he probably isn't the same one.
