Our favourite _58 sets have gone from bad to worse. I started a new microfilm and thought the handwriting would get better. Surprise, surprise it is not.
More druggery. It takes ages to do one set.

Ayup. It's tough. (Especially knowing that 90% of the time there's no reviewer to provide a second opinion on these squiggles.)

I'll say this though, when it comes to reading the old Gothic squiggles, "Übung macht den meister"--and we're certainly getting a lot of übung on this project...

But then, every once in a blue moon, I'll get a set from the 1880's, and its like a breath of fresh air. And to think, once upon a time I thought *that* handwriting was tough.
