I have hit a big, thick brick wall. I hope someone can help me break it down.

I am looking for the family of my gggrandmother, Julia Ann Arnold, born about 1810 and married John Darner/Danner(found in the Germam Lutheran Reformed Church records) in Frederick Co., MD. I believe her father to be Jacob, but I haven't been able to verify. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Danners in Frederick Cty, MD. I have an ancestor, Margaret Danner, b. 3-2-1753, d. 3-27-1822. She married George Smith, b. 8-13-1748. They had two sons that I know about: Daniel and George. Could these be connected?

[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 24, Ed. 1, Tree #0023, Date of Import: Jul 29, 2000]

John was Dunker who had migrated from near Amwell, NJ, where an early community of Brethren had been established by Elder Johannes Naas following his migration in 1735.

His first wife was Margaret Albaugh, a daughter of Zachariah Albaugh, St., of Frederick Co., MD, a Dunker who had migrated from near Amwell, N. J. where an early community of Brethren had been established by Brethren Elder Johannes Naas following his immigration in 1735. All of John's children were by his first wife Margaret Albaugh. She died before 1785. He married his second wife, Catharine Ludwick, who was the widow of Elder Philip Ludwick (Ledwick). This Philip Ludwick was evidently a minister because he was one of several who had been appointed to a special committee by Annual Conference in 1785 to visit the Posers Church on the South Branch of the Potamic in Virginia because of difficulties there in the church. She brought several children to the marriage.[Hans Barth.FTW]
