It was reported in a 1941 newspaper that William English PEDRICK came to America in 1640 and settled in MANSFIELD, NH. I think it must have been MANSFIELD, MA. Is anyone researching this family? Thanks.

Patty,
I know it's quite a gap since you first posted (!), but yes, I am researching the Pedrick family. My mother's family name is Pedrick and I believe this William E. Pedrick is the first immigrant in our 'clan'.

A little confused, too, about the N.H. reference, since there doesn't seem to be a Mansfield, New Hampshire! It might be Massachusetts or perhaps, New Jersey since most the family reside somewhere located between Trenton and Philadelphia. Many hail from Flemington or Port Carbon, PA; Hezekiah E. was born in Mt. Holly; and Gilbert, my grandfather, from Flemington/Trenton.

Would be very interested in anything you might have regarding this reference or more generally, this branch of the Pedrick clan.

Many Thanks,
Gil
