Anywhere in your search have you seen the names Sally Irene Smith Taylor
Edward Byrd Grubb Taylor

I am just beginning a search of my family and don't have much info yet. The Taylors in my family are from around Virginia and North Carolina-from what I've been told the Taylors that I can be linked back to were the same ones that settled Davidson County, NC...any info you may have would be much appreciated...

please reply here or to Rdnckbabe@yahoo.com

thank you

I know of a Thomas Taylor that was born in 1847 in Meriwether Ga. His parents were Reuben/born 1796 in SC and Mary/born 1804 in SC. There were several siblings too. Do any of these names fit your Thomas?

The only Thomas I have that is born near that date is Thomas B. 1848 who married Mary Jane Milner in Cuthbert, Ga.

Wish we could have made a connection although it s ill could be a relateive of William Taylor or Francis Taylor.

This Thomas Taylor does have a sister Francis/b1839 and a brother William P/b1844. They are children of Reuben and Mary Taylor. My Great Grandfather is John N. Taylor of this family. Born in 1835. Do you have info on Reuben and Mary or John?

My Francis Taylor was from SC. He was born about 1796. None of the Taylors from my side came from NH that I know of. But there is always a question about which direction they took and where they entered the US. Sorry I could not have been more help
