Rademachers of Erie County, New York

Classification: Query
Surnames: Rademacher, Friemann, Setter, Seiter
Joannem Albertum Lutianum RADEMACHER
(John Lucian RADEMACHER)
b. 4 Dec 1882 in Buffalo, Erie Co., NY
Married Rose C. Setter or Seiter (last name not definite).

A record on familysearch indicates that his parents were:

Henricus (Heinrich or Henry) RADEMACHER b. 1853 in Rheinbach, Rheinland, Preussen and arrived in US in 1875

and Mariae (Mary) FRIEMANN, also of Rheinbach, Rheinland, Preussen.

I am looking for information on Henry and Mariae. John L and Rose, and Mariae and Henry Jr. show up in the 1910 census, but I can't find much on them prior to that.

This family for the most part stayed in Erie County, NY until the 1970s. I have a lot of descendant information if anyone else is looking for it.

I came across your post. I am a direct descendant of the people you are referencing, but I am wondering who you are and what is your connection to the Rademacher Family of Erie Co. NY?

Hi! John Lucien Rademacher had a son, John Henry. John Henry had a son, John Norman. I am married to one of John Norman's sons. Incidentally, if you are one of John Norman's nieces/nephews, he is interested in making contact.

John L. Rademacher had 6 sons and 5 daughters. The one you are referring to is my great Uncle Jack. I am Jerome (Jerry's) and Dorothy's granddaughter. My dad is also Jerome (Jerry), but a lot of people in the family know him as Zeke. My e-mail is I'm guessing that you are not Kim Rademacher (but probably a sister-in-law) who is also looking for info.
